Swansea 0 Rovers 1
Sorry to bring a damper in such a good run for us but I cant see us getting anything out of this one.
2-1 loss.
Swansea 0 Rovers 1
I'm not sure how their getting stuffed by WBA will affect them. Could go either way.
Another team with a good defence but not scoring many goals.
I'm tempted by nil-nil, but we do seem to be finding a way of scoring one, so I'll go along with Champs and one-nil to Rovers.
The tough one is Bristol City. I feel that's the biggest game of the season. If we go down there and get something, I think every one will have to sit up and take notice. If we go down and get beat, then we move on. It's no big deal. But if we went and got 4 points in these 2 away games, then I'd be made up.
We are a better side than Swansea, so if we go down with a plan, and are all at it for 90 mins, we stand a good chance.
I think I've mentioned before that I have a cousin who is a Bristol City fanatic. He has rarely missed a game in years, and I tend to get detailed match-reports from him!
He reckons they have been very erratic this season. Unfortunately, they put on one of their best performances of the season against Fulham last Saturday. They're playing Millwall tonight (Tuesday), and the Lions are also on a decent run, so we might find out a bit about City's form from that game.
My cousin says they have no problem scoring goals, but the defence can be a bit shaky.
As you say Champs, that will be our biggest test for a while (assuming we beat Swansea!).
I forgot this. He reckons that their midfielder, Brownhill, must be one of the best "free" transfer players ever. I think they got him from Preston.

Swansea 2 Rovers 2
I'll repeat my 1-1 score line
Never in any doubt: D
A good point against tricky opposition.
A much tougher task awaits on Saturday.
The upside is, we would almost certainly have lost that game a month ago.
Terrific performance by Ayew for Swansea.
