    So if multiple teams offer £300k then it's up to him what team he picks? Surely not? If a team really wants him then surely they'll offer more than this to get him, even if it's an extra £50k.

    Sadly no, any team that meets a release clause, gets to talk to the player to try and sign him, they dont need to offer a penny more.
