Considering the players we have at our disposable compared to them, I thought Arbroath more than matched us all over the park. We simply could not play into that wind and were even worse with the wind at our backs, whereas they were able to play decent football, on the deck, in both halves. Our distribution was absolutely tragic at times. Punts into areas where we didn't even have players occupying. Schoolboy stuff. Could see our better players (Shankland & Butcher) getting frustrated out there. No doubt conditions didn't help but jesus, some of that was basic football and we couldn't even do that that. However, it's 3 points, at a very tough venue and another step towards promotion.

That's because they play in those conditions regular nd know exactly what they are doing, a great leveller which is where the frustration come from, they are a team that's played together for a few seasons now in those conditions

Thought we did really well and but for the pen miss would have won it much more comfortably, that gave them a lift not being completely out of it.

The league wont be won at Cappielow or Gayfield in December but it can be lost there. We wouldn't have got 6 points from these games in the past.

Agree 100 percent.. If the pen wasn't saved it would have have been alot more of a resounding win on paper but we kept a clean sheet and arbroath were well beaten.

Yes mate, I know that. Thanks.

It doesn't however mean we should just punt the ball into hopeless places and hope for the best. Get the ball down, play it on the deck, play it to feet, like they tried to. Shankland was able to do it, so there's no excuses for anyone in our team who couldn't. His yellow card was absolutely born out of frustration today.
