Surely these will be this week’s pre match legends.

Any mention of Stinking Lyng, and the the Barnet destroyer should result in a lengthy ban bestowed onto whoever dared utter their names!

Harkes has to play, like you say our best midfield combo is him and Butcher, he has been excellent in both derbies, he changed the game at Tannadice

You don't start a derby without him, quality player with that American winning mentality, athletic, fast and a shed boy grandad

You have to decide whether you start Stanton, Appere or Clark, that's the decision, it's a strong team either way

Oh and I've read this today on a dee forum "They don't have the best squad of players in the league but they are the best team"

    It's beyond parody.

I wonder who that poster thinks does have the best squad?

He's right in one respect though. We ARE the best team. Hopefully to be demonstrated on Friday night.

Best thing about what you were replying to is its picking between the 4 for 3 positions! Keeper, defence, centre mid and Shankland must be set in stone, its just the 3 around Shankland that are a welcome issue!

For his goals, Clark starts, for his assists, McMullan starts, and for his success rate, Stanton starts. If we dont get a big bid in, Appere will get his chance covering injuries and next season in the top flight!

Whoever gets in, i hope they all score double figures.

No wld have appere and McMullen wide and Clark in behind shanks. Have seen harkes play better than he did on sat. I get him and pat play well together, bt on sat to much passed our midfield by especially in first half. Against the fun we need pace, width and creativity to play a high tempo pressing game. So coming out the traps firing on all cylinders is essential. I think harkes is to negative at times and in a game like this wld slow things down and wld be better utilised coming on when we are ahead. 🎅

So i have been right all along with my assertion that DFC have the best squad in the Championship?.That just shows you how thick the CEO of BET 365 is for paying out on United winning the league!.BTW her name is Denise Coates and she earned 300 million pounds more than the Marrs ran up for ADMIN 1,FACT with a WASC.

just playing devils advocate but what about dropping Reynolds and going 4 up front with Appere, Clark, McMullan and Shanks throwing all we have at the shaky dee defence? Just a thought. Reynolds distribution gives me the fear and players like Robson love passing it back to him to punt it no-where.

We might lose some goals but might get more than 6 this time
