I can see how a player would be fit enough to play golf and not fit to play football indeed it could even help him build his fitness until he could do running etc. so wouldn't slate a player for that to be fair.

Getting a wander round a golf course for 2 hours is probably better for recovery from a slight injury than sitting at home watching TV or listening to music. I can see it being a recommendation from the medical staff rather than something they "allowed".

Yet another instance where some fans go off the deep end based on a small portion of the full story......... I wonder who Lamps was angry with, Jack the lad for golfing or the medical staff for OK'ing it........

He's 25, so he's not "good potential" and he wasn't when we signed him at the age of 24, he's heading into the best years of his career so should be hitting the goals everyone thinks he can get

I honestly don't see where the hype is around this bloke, he's nowhere near as good as people think and if Hull bid us money back for him snap their hands off.

I’m told that both Cocu, and Lampard before him, were much more irritated by the amount of time spent in his business interest than on the golf course which - depending on the injury - may well, as MA says, have made no difference or even been beneficial.

No idea how true that is but if he’s not committed then let him go imo...even though he’ll probably come back and ‘haunt’ us.

Que Sera, Happy Christmas and let’s hope for a happier New Year...in all sorts of ways.

RA always hard to know what is true and what are lies Can't see any point in loaning unless it's for ffp, and then sell in summer , Shame still the best player we have at the moment But it's no surprise it's been on social media for weeks that he was going to Hull . Have a great Xmas and a promotional New Year
