    Indeed

Draw was fair, nothing more, nothing less despite the fact you'd think they had won the game and will be treated like a heroic event in deluded land, reality check, we retain the bragging rights, their winless run at Tannadice goes on as well and will extend to 16 years

We move onto 10 unbeaten, 12 league games at home unbeaten and can chill for a week and prepare for Dumfries

Two difficult away games before Hibs at home

Decidedly average in the second. Not a good game to watch, however 14 clear at the top now and 17 above the frothing Derry W8nkers.

Superb banners. Well done to all concerned.

    This City Is Ours. FTD.

That was it, there is always a derby like that where it's eeksy peeksy, especially with the quick turnaround from the other one

You tell me, you just said in a previous post you weren't happy with all of the performances this season?

Actually last night we were there for the taking if the truth be told!! But they simply weren't good enough to do anything about it!

    Very very poor.

Aperre should have been playing from the start right up next to Shankland (who did some great running) with maybe Clark just behind. This constant lumping up which is the usual derby way would have worked better. In 4 minutes he was high and we scored. The top man was always too isolated.

Happy with Sporle when he came on.

But in general we sat in too far and allowed their midfield too much space in front.

    United 7 points - Fun 1 point
    United 9 goals - Fun 3 goals

17 points clear, mind the gap. Goal difference +28 on the Fun

One of our poorest performances, dragged down to their level by the Derby passion yet they're celebrating a draw like it's a Final win. They played their best and restored their pride allegedly yet they still couldn't beat us.

It just shows what their expectations are these days.

    Mind the gap

They don't. They really don't. But our flag displays are really winding them up. But I'm sure they've still got the Judas bedsheet somewhere?

You know what Shedka I do think that's a big part of what's making them angry. They can see "the Brick " looking immense, packed out with passionate colourful fans, colours in the air, flags proudly on display and deep deep down they're going "wish our club was like that". It hurts them to see it but they can't post that on their message boards. They know that we're the top team, they know we have a much bigger support and it gets to them.
So they cling onto stuff like "we did it first" "fans from Angus and Fife (which is actually a compliment to our success) dayglo fans etc. Because deep down they wish their fans were as colourful and passionate as ours.
It's understandable, what have they got left? A stadium they dont own that's falling apart, a promise of a shiny new one and a dwindling support. They don't even play in Dark Blue any more and no one complained. I think they're about done.
