Poll in the Tele asking the public to vote whether Jim's statue should be positioned in Tannadice, or outside Tannadice, or in the city square.
The poll indicates 66% want the statue outside Tannadice!!!!
This is ridiculous, - the only debate for the position of Jim's statue should be, - in which part of Tannadice?
I don't want to see the statue vandalised by funsters or others because it's in the city square.
United supporters paid for this statue, and it's not up for a vote in the Tele to decide where it goes.

How about mounting the statue on a HUGE plinth in between Dens and Tannadice. After all, as a player and coach, he has a strong link with DFC as well.

It's about time that the Dark Blue faithful started to show respect to one of their own boys who went on to achieve amazing things. Albeit he did it a few hundred yards doon the road at the People's club.
