But we did have the proverbial pot because the club paid them, investment isn't finalised yet so the club paid up, maybe the investment is in place but was delayed due to our bank holiday, or a swiss or turkish one who knows, all we know is they got paid but by whom nobody knows, maybe Rooney dipped into his pocket?

Is the inward investment now in place? Why hasn't it been formally announced. Are we now financially viable? Just how much in the deep, dark and smelly were we? If the investment hasn't happened yet, where did the money suddenly come from? Will this news deter potential signings from actually doing so?
MA good points don't look good if your a player waiting to sign does not look good Plus any selling club are going to think twice But from what I've heard Cocu has been told he can have the three players he needs , so can't be that bad

They will be signed in the summer. We don't want a lot of disruption in January. Especially now we have started to look as though we give a f*ck.

Leicester fans jumping all over it without getting their facts right before commenting pi**es me off. And its rich coming from that lot who literally frauded people out of livlihoods coming out with their guff.

"Not surprised given they are one of the examples of clubs chucking money around in hope for promotion."

Yes we did spend a few bob when Mel first arrived, but I don't get where they get this guff from, we had one transfer window where we went nuts and spent 20+m ffs, the rest of the time we've sold before buying? We've probably recouped a lot of the money back that we've spent since then.

Mel at least learned that lesson. But Leicester fans jumping on comments like that despite spending millions a season on their "talent" so fack off and enjoy your CL qualification season, and remember, it was tax payers that funded it ffs.

Wont stop idiot "rival" fans from taking the p*** though

Florest I can accept because they are major rivals

But Leicester? The only reason I'm annoyed is because they think we're bothered about them, I'm not remotely bothered about the fact they are flying high and have won the prem in the past few years,,, if it was Florest I'd be green and a little sad about it. Should they go up this season I'll be ever so slightly sick esp after our near misses

But Leicester? not one bit bothered about their success, in fact I wanted them to win the prem as well. Can we say the same if it was Florest?.....
