We have a great memory to thank him for, but to bring him back will just tarnish that memory,

121 games 10 goals is not what we need right now, a very promising young player who I think never got over a bad injury, I’d hate to see the crowd turn against him, and that’s all a return would bring

Was actually thinking more Cammy Fraser ,remember when he turned up out of the blue when he was about 36 as poor as he was would still stroll into this team ...

Sir Cammy aged about 62 as he is now would walk into this team, and be the best player in it!

I was lucky enough to spend some time chatting to him at his house a few years ago and his stories are great. He is also a winner who hated losing, so much so that he gave me his 1980 League Cup runners up medal as it meant so little to him losing a final.

And he wore proper boots as well, great story by the way ,we took playing for the jersey as a given back then I have little respect for football players today it’s just a job to them.

Maybe mentioned this before so apologies but worked with a guy whose mate was a night porter at the Apex ,both Ravennelli and Burley were staying there at the time ,one was constantly in the gym and living healthily the other was pished most nights and a piss poor attitude as well ,answers on a postcard as to which was which...obviously a few degrees of separation in the story but plausible all the same...

Burley was the pound for pound worst signing in our history.

i was at a football doo a year or two back and spoke to cammy during the interval and asked why he put provan 6 ft in the air at dens and was half way to the tunnel before the red was shown, simple straight answer----provan put a few bad challenges in on our young full back tosh mck (think it was his 1st game against celtic) and nobody was getting away with that when i was on the park

we dont have anyone with that thinking or indeed cammys persona within the club at the moment

Nowadays players are frightened to put in a ‘bone crunching’ tackle because referees book players for phuck all. Today’s referee was a case in point. Our players were booked for tame tackles yet the same referee did nothing about ICT players stealing at least ten yards when taking a throw in.

Can't remember the last player we had like that.

Wee mention for Noel Blake who did probably give his own mother a ****er wishing her happy birthday.
