A day is a long time in football

Cobra posted this in the early hours of Saturday.

"I think this weekend is our last chance to realistically turn a procession into a title race.
Queens battered the DABS 4-0 at Palmerston early in the season.Same again combined with a home win at Dens will see the lead cut the gap to 12 points and then we're into "You never know" territory."

"Exactly a decade ago Dundee were 12 points ahead of ICT going into the new decade. We finished the season 12 behind them. That's a 24 point swing that nobody would have believed possible at the turn of the year"

"We had GGH and Sparky, the two best players in the league. We had a handsome lead. They had good players, they worked hard and when the results came we fell to bits.Something similar couldn't happen again could it?.Be nice if we could at least test their mettle."

    Cobra posted this last night.

"The title is certainly gone after today but a second successive relegation cannot be ruled out after Morton won cutting the gap between us and 9th to 7 points.
If the board, manager and players think we can drift along until the end of the season putting in mediocre performances and not be drawn into a relegation battle they'll be in for a surprise."

Its got to be said that only a Funster could post about the same team being potential champions and suffering a double relegation in under 24 hours,FACT.

“You never know” - well I certainly “never knew” you got 5 points for a win.

I did notice his mistake James but it was only fair to go word for word.

TBF GB, as a Funster they are notorious for not being very good with figures.

I think they should all stick £50 quid on a second successive relegation and then put pictures up of their winning betting slips (and manky feet) 😂

Here is his £10 roll up that he is sharing with the poster who predicts the 1st Dee goalscorer of the decade.

    Alloa to beat Partick.

    Arbroath to beat Morton.

    Dundee to beat ICT.

    Dunfermline to beat Ayr.

    QOTS to beat United.

    £1400 if it comes up.

Perhaps he should put two lines on. One with what he thinks will happen (like the one above) and also the exact opposite. 😂

Notice they are talking today about Noo Campy going ahead. Funny how every time they get a bad result the stadium plans get a fresh airing.

Funny that when the chips are down that the good old fake news and PR spin machine springs into life! Fun Campy Stadium will be a stunning white elephant and just the kinda concept our glorious council will happily buy into!
