Yep - I drive past it regularly on the way in and out to Heathrow.

They’ve somehow managed to shoehorn a great big fuuck off fitba ground right into a prime urban residential & commercial location. It’s a total new build, not even a redevelopment of the current ground which is just down the road a bit.

It’s not greenbelt in the slightest - it’s just up the road fae the Chiswick roundabout & Hammersmith flyover - prime West London real estate.

Amazing how they managed it when clearly we’ve been assured that such a thing cannot be done.

Good luck to them but it also shows how ludicrous the money’s got down there when a shytey wee non entity club like Brentford can be spending money like that on a ground like that 😳

I think its been established that we could do it, however it would cost the club a lot more to do than a move to Kingsford.
The design is largely a financial one, not a technical capability one.

That’s not how the club sell it though. Yes they reference the funds they’ll get from selling pittodrie - but that’s only one of the many reasons they fob us off with.

That said though when you see the diets spunking over £20m on one stand with no facilities we could be worse off...
