    Easy goals, get Watson on.
Might be too late . Should never have been left out the team in the first place. He was "one" of the reasons we had tightened things up at the back. If it's not broken, leave it as it is. Very strange :/

On the other hand We don't know if there is another reason, pretty sure Watson picked up a knock in first game, maybe played a part

Minter to lose three goals to Doidge though, always a chance they'd get another late on though

That's Hibs leveled the head to head 72 wins a piece.

A self inflicted halt to our run of form, albeit 2 games against prem oppositions. Absolutely no need mess around with the team or formation but like earlier in the season has Neilson done it anyway, all so he can get his favourites back on the pitch even if they are worse than the ones on it. What a weird call and should have to explain his reasoning behind it. The leagues won regardless but we will stutter along until those boys get injured again

To me it's simple. Watson isn't a Robbie signing. Phased him out slowly over the last few weeks.

Some positives from the 2 games but one thing that is clear we have to strengthen in defence for the Premiership.

Said it at the time of the good run you could tell Nielson couldn't wait to get Connolly back in the team. These two are a mess together. Watson deserves to be treated better than he is.

I'd rather lose 4-2 there in the cup this season if it helps us learn and get positive results there next season. But as I said on the transfer thread we need 4/5 new players but I'm not convinced we'll get them.

Our defence stabilised when Connolly was out of the team. The 5 games he has started back we have started leaking goals again conceding 8 goals in the 5 games.

    Absolutely this.

Unfair on Watson to be dropped. 4 goals conceded tonight without him.

Also not keen on Pawlett who slows play down too much and not consistent performer. Robbie always favours him though

According to Mcan on radio selling shanks would pave the way to get those 4/5 new players for next season but think he (like many) just cant handle the fact shanks is at tanny.
