On the other hand We don't know if there is another reason, pretty sure Watson picked up a knock in first game, maybe played a part

A self inflicted halt to our run of form, albeit 2 games against prem oppositions. Absolutely no need mess around with the team or formation but like earlier in the season has Neilson done it anyway, all so he can get his favourites back on the pitch even if they are worse than the ones on it. To me it's simple. Watson isn't a Robbie signing. Phased him out slowly over the last few weeks.

I'd rather lose 4-2 there in the cup this season if it helps us learn and get positive results there next season. But as I said on the transfer thread we need 4/5 new players but I'm not convinced we'll get them.

Also not keen on Pawlett who slows play down too much and not consistent performer. Robbie always favours him though

According to Mcan on radio selling shanks would pave the way to get those 4/5 new players for next season but think he (like many) just cant handle the fact shanks is at tanny.
