This Alice in Wonderland club has another casualty. This was a tactical firing. They released three experienced players two were Calderwoods, then said that there would be no further signings this year.
After Calderwood has gone, the club has said they would be active in the transfer market.
I call that up the swannee with no paddle. Calderwood was left with the detritus, and as he said, no fight, no effort, constant across the board injuries, and I would like to add, no talent. Or very little. The injuries were mini holidays. The injuries that have swept this club since Dunnes days really are too much to believe.
His heart went out of it some time ago, he stopped joking. With players that have serious deficits as mentioned above, you can only say the same thing to them so often. He was fired by the board because he didn't get results in cahoots with the players
Now that is terminal.
And the process will repeat itself, a clique will defend itself. If there are problems, a sole individual is too blame, and dispensed with. Are the board and coaches going to take any responsibility. ?
Of course not.
The board have failed for a quarter of a century, the one blip in that was Dave Doggett, and he was dispensed with. If an individual goes into therapy saying the world has failed them for twenty five years, the therapist will of course join the person in railing against at how beastly the world is. Im joking.
And yet this is how the board has carried on for twenty five very long years. Mistake after mistake. If the board took responsibility Calderwood would still be here, and this club would be riding high in div 1 with Boro.
It isn't the managers Mr Cambridge United.
At this point, having made this point to a patient, if the patient is fundamentally bad, therapy is terminated.
Dr Snoopy, the doctor is in.
If there are united fans out there this is the only uncensored fans site going. Come and say it.
