3 out of the bottom 4 in the Championship currently are the 3 clubs that went up from league 1 last season, all 3 are bigger clubs than us, that clearly shows how hard it is when you go up from league 1 to try and compete at that level.

If we do go up, 4th bottom next season would be a monumental achievement.

That said I honestly believe we had enough to stay up last season and certainly would have done with a couple of quality additions last January. Problem is those couple of quality additions would be mega expensive for a club of our size.

Over to you Big Tone!!!! How much do you want it......

Ironically riley, 2 of the top 3 in league one, currently, are two of the three teams that got relegated from the championship last season.

do we really want to be in the prem? huge wage bills, every ground you go to the fans will be Wednesday esk billy big bowlax. omg and VAR topsy would have a meltdown

speaking of prem league. spoke to a old blades mate at the game tuesday . hes a big buddy of wilder not seen him since sheff u went up. hes loving the prem, the grounds hes visiting are top notch. great skilful players. hes also hating var.. 4 minute one division took and the refs first decision stood
looks like the blades are splashing the cash. they have put a bid in for a overseas player. 17 million. genk said they want 27 million mate said wilder still interested. i guess this could be one of those undisclosed fees

We are who we are and unless a Billionaire sweeps in, how dare I dream of that, we will bounce between the Championship and League 1
    forever and a day.

What I want to place on record is THANK YOU Tony Stewart. For without you Sir, we would not have a club and a great stadium.

I'll take revolving between the second and third divisions. It used to be between the third and forth.

Tbh I have a bigger smile on my face on match days in league one than the championship. 15 - 20 goal chances per game Vs 5-7 in the champ. I get the "we should be playing at a higher level as possible" but as entertainment this division is it.
Imagine being a Everton fan stuck in the same division for 100 years. 50% of the fans were not even born the last time they won owt.

If only we'd have got one more point in 54/55 where would we be now. That season we finished above Liverpool, Leeds, west Ham and Forest.

Playing Smith on his own up front last season almost worked but it made for a full watch most of the time.
This season's traditional 442 is working a treat, so stick with this, unless we are getting hammered every game.
