I wish him all the best, he looked a cut above the rest when he first joined us but we've evolved into a meaner machine since then and he's never going to get in this team. Good signing for any L2 club though, and no doubt he can cut it in L1.

What I meant was, we didn't try to sell him to them but, we've re loaned him back while we pay half his wage! That's a semi freebie if you're splitting hairs.

As for Palmer, three month left on his contract and we don't even ask for a bean. A token say 20k wouldn't have been too much to ask for.
That could have gone towards say facilities/equipment for the youth academy, but no, yet another one gone for nowt like Hinds.

Yes, one of those 'undisclosed fee' deals. He only had a few months left on his contract at Burton so would not have been much.

Not a bad footballer and looked initially like a good acquisition but then fell behind.

How do you know that we didn't seek payment for both Palmer and Hinds?
