Was there with my grandson, his first game, We looked as if we just had to turn up to win, Arbroath deserve credit, no player had time on the ball apart from our back 4 who invariably waltz up to the half way line pass it wide then get it back straight away because there was no midfield player in space and then hump a ball up front which the back 6 of Arbroath gobbled up most of the game. Arbroaths attitude to stick to man marking us was excellent and I feel they deserved the 3 points for staying the distance, what we need to consider is why when they only had about 3 raids into our box did they win the match, many poor performances today but Smith, Robson, Connelly and Renolds were embarrassing, change the lot for next year if we are to survive in the premiership.

Sounds about right. Without being there let me guess...... Connolly charges up to the halfway line, plays it back to Reynolds who then plays it sideways to Robson who then plays it back to Reynolds who then hoofs it up the park to no-one?? Said it during the week, that entire back line isn't good enough for The Premiership.

As it has been all season. The games where we have played well have been few and far between. We have the best striker in the league and most weeks give him no service whatsoever. He is so good that he scores goals despite our set up and style of play.

Our manager is below average and most managers in the Championship would have done as well with the same financial backing.

To be moaning when we are so far ahead in the league at this point of the season seems ridiculous, but anyone who has seen us regularly this season knows exactly what I'm saying.

No wanting to sound like im picking on Powers here but we didnt do all this side and back passing with Harkes/ Butcher/ Stanton, for me he's slowed us right down.
