Thread: Transfer rumour thread 19/20

Canna believe we've let a forward go when 2 of them are out injured and we were screaming for a forward on Saturday

Are we in a bidding war with the Funsters for Tony Watt?.Something has to be on the back burner with the injuries to our other forwards surely?.

playing the way we're playing, having the current injuries, Shankland on international duty and the potential injury to any of our forwards and NOT signing anyone is a f ucking disgrace. Are we deliberately trying to throw this lead away?

Talk about blowing things out of proportion

For all we know, as GB alluded to we may have something in the back burner... If not then we must be confident we have enough with Cammy Smith

I liked him but its not like he has contributed much this season so difficult to miss, he will be known for the player that scored number 6 part 2 though

He would never have been my first choice but Watt now seems a clear and obvious choice now we are past the window. Shop window for him for a few months; decent forward cover for us. We suddenly look really short of options up front particularly if *shudder* something were to happen to Shankland. No Sow. No Clark. No Cammy Smith. Not even now Matty Smith who did show he could have chipped in at this level. I haven’t mentioned Appere and McMullen, primarily as they are not centre forwards.

    Both can play there though

In fact we beat Ross County and ICT around March last year, both midweek games, both 1-0 with McMullan leading the attack

Feel sorry for Cammy and Matty S as both could potentially have had something to contribute but not worked out for them

RN like to have a tight competitive squad which I think is a good idea

The logic of letting them go must be that Appere or Mcmullan can play up front if required.

Not a fan of Pawlett but he or Glass can play the no 10 centrally if required. We have enough in the squad.

You can’t honestly say you looked at that bench on Saturday and thought we have enough in the squad?
