Sounds about right!!
Football is back this evening and the Rams have an appointment with Man U to book. Anyone want to get off the fence and predict tonight's outcome? I think we've fallen off the cliff edge after that transfer window, and expect a drab display, winning in a penalty shootout.
Sounds about right!!
Turned out a not too bad result, based on the Radio Derby commentary, seeing we had a lot of bench sitters and squad players in there. I'll probably know better when I've seen the video but we've got past that particular banana skin without mishap. Now on to the TV's dream game of Rooney v ManU.
4-2 probably signals better entertainment than RD radiated and it sounded like we appear to have found our shooting boots. 21 shots, 11 on target to their 9 and 3. Would 6 or 7 - 2 have been a better reflection of the game? I will find out once the full 90 is available.
I was disappointed at the crowd. 15 and a bit thousand of which 4 and a bit thousand were away fans. That's a mere 11K Rams fans. Watch the scramble for tickets for the next round. They will have around 5K and we'll have between 27K and 28K and could possibly sell 40K. All because it's ManUre.
To be fair, most people won't budget for a (minimum) 4 game Cup run, so if you're on a budget, which game would you pay to watch?
Decent enough result and eight goals in the last two home games.
Certainly made less fuss against lower league opposition than some...Birmingham and Newcastle spring to mind.
If only we could see some of this form at Swansea on Saturday.
A good result, I'd like to see the same back 4 on Saturday.
Really? I’m surprised. Bogle and Forsyth back for me with Wisdom back in the centre.Originally Posted by AdiSalisbury

I could be persuaded with Bogle, but Forsyth is always worth a calamity pass, and in Cocu's playing style, the risk is high.
