The above was all explained at the supporters meeting and it was pointed out that this was not an investment. You can basically say bye bye to your money. However as the board had managed to get NH to sell it was suggested that a place on the board for the supporters would be a great idea. It gives the supporter a chance to invest in the club

The money gives you a vote at the supporters meeting for making suggestions on how to run the club etc
I doubt the average supporter even put up £250 but perhaps 5 of them put in £50 each
I would suggest that some people or businesses possibly gave more that £1000 in order to hit the target.

I thought it was a great idea in order to stop another NH fiasco and the guys who organised it deserve a lot of praise on doing this as they and Charles Grant put a lot of effort in it.
If you are looking for a return on your money do not do this but if you want to have a say in how the club is run then this is for you.
They are still collecting by the way.

Does it include a free match day ticket for X years? That could be worth something for younger members but its always the case that shareholders may lose all their money if it goes pearshape.

How is the club to be run any differently if the playing budget is to remain the same? Hassall seems to be the only winner...again!

What happened to that money the club gave him that wasn't paid back ie some was but all of it?

Where does the ground and car park fit in?

Anyone read the book 'Animal Farm'...by George Orwell?

One erm set of owners of the Farm were replaced by erm another set of owners with all the minnions remaining as they were... In fact some ended up at the glue factory!
