    Crucifying? I'm simply pointing out the fact that he is getting more game time than any other player in his position would have gotten based on his (horrible) form this season.

    This, in turn, will also lead to the younger, talented strikers thinking they will never get a chance here.

    Joelinton has been so poor over nearly all our games this season that he looked so much better last night.
    He had a great run down the left to the byeline, cut in and shot and was unlucky not to score and the back heel assist was class. However, he was poor holding up the ball and dispossessed on a few times that I saw.
    IMO he put in an acceptable performance but let’s not get carried away remembering the opposition. The way we were dominating them for most of the game it was a perfect game for him to fo more.
    I hope he gets some confidence and pushes on ( but I don’t see the Prem as his level).
