I'm concerned about stories of shortages of protective equipment for NHS staff and I think the communications strategy has been poor (I agree with Starmer that we should have a daily five minute update on TV – even though a lot of the Social Media Left will dismiss that out of hand as propaganda), but beyond that, I think the UK response has been sensible and proportionate
