    Ok, so...if the season is written off and they don't decide to continue it next, erm...'season'....should Liverpool be awarded the title?

    I'm torn. Technically, the answer is 'no' because they could-mathematically-be overtaken. I know they wouldn't be (well...actually, the pedant in me won't let me use 'know' without qualifying it because you can't actually know something that hasn't yet happened regardless of how inevitable it is, death excluded ) but you get my point

    But, from a 'fairness' point of view? Yes. They've been by far the best team and only need , what, 2 wins to claim the title?

    For me, it's 'yes'. It's never going to feel the same as winning it by playing a match and it will always be tainted to a degree but I think they've earned it.

    Thoughts?
