Lets put it this way Howdy if a close family member of mine died because they could not get a hospital bed or a ventilator I would want to know why. Is that not a reasonable thing to do? Wouldn't you ask the same question in the same circumstances? Bearing in mind the warnings about pandemics as posted above. Or would you just say they were unlucky...?

Come on their is an element of avoidability here. Not saying everyone can be saved but more could be with good planning and the will to prepare...
