A hospital in Harrow is now overwhelmed by coronavirus patients.
The time spent dithering about may end up costing a lot of lives

Were correct decisions taken at correct time in UK?
Situation in Italy is out of control, but consider the stats...

    Switzerland 5369 cases, 56 deaths

Mike is generally a loveable poster known for channelling Private Frazer, but his constant politically motivated carping on such a serious subject as Coronavirus is not quite so amusing.

He doesn't like BoJo. I get that and agree to a point, but as someone mentioned the other day, he is giving the impression that he is willing the situation to deteriorate so that he can have a political pop.

So the countries with mixed public and private health care systems are doing better than our completely public one.

All hospitals in Germany are private, as are 85% in Japan.

Kerr you don't have to like or dislike Bojo to question if we are prepared. It is a genuine question from someone who is genuinely worried as are millions. I'm pretty sure kids coming home from school are asking there mums and dads such questions. KIds who might lose grand parents etc.Are they politically motivated. You talk nonsense....

Or are you saying that we shouldn't ask such questions now ? Why not? We are all in the same boat...we may all lose someone close to us even lose our own lives...

In a couple of years time, I'm sure that there will be several academic studies concerning how the pandemic was addressed.

I'd be careful with the figures. There may be recording differences. E.g.many of those who die have other health issues, so if someone with, say, heart disease dies of heart failure whilst infected there would need to be a decision made as to how to record that. How that is done May differ from country to country.
