Depends if you have at risk relatives Brin.
I just don't see many complying at least totally with that. Some wont at all... In fact many will continue seeing friends. I don't see how you can seriously police it myself. Not saying its right. I suspect Boris will have factored non compliance into his calculations recognising that at least some extra social separation might be enough to make a difference. He would be very naive if he thinks that everyone will comply.
Think there will be a lot of lasting bitterness after this is over particularly if people lose family or friends. People will keep very quiet about what they did during the epidemic for fear of reprisals. Not too unlike the aftermath of the miners strike...

Well young grandparents will need to grow a brain cell and do as they are told. No excuses now. Too many people in this country who think that responsibility doesn't apply to them. Be responsible from now and do the right thing.
We won't be able to police it. I'm sure there will be people going out for "exercise" 10 times a day and the supermarkets will be as full as normal.
Essential shopping tomorrow, got order for food items from different pensioners on my street, ordered bread cakes in advance today, one of the pensioners is blind, lives on her own 2 doors away from me, her daughter is the the only one who enters her bungalow every day, which the daughter wears protective gloves, we keep a check on the lady, she does great to say her handicap.
Today my wife did a big Shepherds pie, with veg & good proper gravy, some taken round for the blind lady, passed to her daughter, some more for the 84 year old lady who lives on her own 2 doors the other way from us.
Has to keeping the distance from each other, the blind lady in her garden, her neighbour next door in his garden, then me in my garden, talking to each other this afternoon.
