Had a letter from Medivet head office in Watford, regarding any treatment required my pet may require and the Covid-19 virus, we use Arncliffe vet's in Wath-on-Dearne, which is part of the Medivet group.

We wanted to update you on the steps that we are taking to ensure we continue to deliver exceptional care for you and your pet during these challenging times, and also to assure you that Medivet Wath is open as usual.
Covid-19 and your pet
According to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), the current spread of Covid-19 is a result of human-to-human transmission. To date there is no evidence that pets can spread the disease.
Unless you have been diagnosed with Covid-19 or are self-isolating with possible Covid-19, You should continue to interact with your pet as normal, but maintain good hygiene around handwashing. It's also a good idea to try and buy some extra pet food and medication in case of future self-isolation.
If you are diagnosed with Covid-19, you should restrict contact with pets as a precautionary animal health measure until more information is known about the virus and keep up the handwashing.
