So it's the goverments fault. I seem to remember you saying you hoped it went ahead because it helped the local economy , no selfishness on your part then.
Easteigh, guilty..... but when you have a young lad who is Notts daft............. Btw, didn't you go as well.

There would have come a point where each of us began to take this seriously, but not all at the same time. Maybe Lullapie's take is just a reflection of where NZ is at right now.
I might have been the first person to post about Covid on here when I flagged up the Italian league games being called off but my only concern at that stage was the implications for the English game. It's a lot to take in, so I think we should go easy on each other. We have every right to expect our governments to be better informed however. If we can't hold them to account then we're in even bigger trouble.

Good post UTM. Coronavirus is being treated how everything is treated in the world nowadays. It's hard to work out what is fact and what is Fake News. Article below is from a 'reputable' source in NZ.

Yes, because they decided on a course of action that allowed it to go ahead. Who else was to blame?

No, I wanted it to go ahead for selfish reasons. It wasn't the money, even though I have to spend over £2,000 in November to finance a trip in March, it would have been refunded in the event of cancellation. I wanted it to go ahead because it's my favourite day of the year and 40+ people had booked time off work to go with me. I was simply following government advice.

Right, so here I could play your game and suggest that you were prepared to risk your lives rather than deny your son a footy match. I won't, because I'm pretty sure that just like me you were following government advice at the time.

If you hadn't been regularly been rinsed by laddo, I might be able to take you seriously.
