    I know where your coming from but, lets be really honest here, TV shouldn't have the slightest say in the current climate!!!
    The government, no, of course not. Hence 'most things'. But when the league gets the go ahead to play games, you can guarantee every decision will be influenced by TV. Without TV revenue, we don't have a league. They dictate almost everything because they have the big pot of cash that the SPFL can't say no to. There are TV deals in place for next season. Not a chance will that be postponed.

    Agree on the finance side of that, but if this issue takes until say, August/September to resolve then even if the leagues are decided on points accrued and teams are declared winners, losers etc (whenever that may be) then next season will have been postponed.

    The TV companies, if the leagues are played out would happily show all the important matches (league winning matches, relegation matches, play-offs etc ) then, be even happier to show the next season after a short break. They won't lose out no matter when the games are played, but unless Doncaster has the balls to call everything finished as things stand there will be a postponement and the TV companies will have to adjust. Just my opinion obviously
