The adverts have been getting worse on my phone.

Looks like Dundee are about to change their vote from No to Yes so that would carry the vote to end the season for bottom leagues and no doubt followed fairly quickly by Premiership over next couple of weeks once UEFA give their blessing to diddy top leagues finishing early

Unmathematical relegations and titles are not on. I am fully against them. But for different reasons to sevco who are hellbent on stopping 9 in a row or getting an asterisk on this one (even though not one EBT title has an asterisk)

Despite it being funny to see the response from sevco and hertz being relegated I do agree with you on finishing the season. I'm not in favour of reconstruction just for the hell of it but if we assume there won't be any football this side of August/September I can't see why we couldn't just do something like the following

1. finish off the season when we are able to play

2. have a 10 day break to play the cup semis and final during which time we issue the fixtures for the new season once we know promotion and relegation (scrap play offs for one year only)

3. play a shortened version in the Premiership by having the split after 22 games and then play each other twice after the split for a total of 32 games

4. leave the lower leagues with the normal 36 games but just play a few more midweek games in "European weeks" to get through the games

5. for once season only don't play the League Cup, have no midseason break and scrap Scottish Cup replays

6. play end of season play-offs as normal

5. for one season only don't play the League Cup, have no mid-season break and scrap Scottish Cup replays forever.
