I despair for the state of our police nowadays, I used to know one or two when I worked in Burnley, speak like that to them and they'd have put the smackhead's windows in as well. What's the use of police who take **** like that ?

I guess - Sinkov....if you boot a guys door in, obviously for nothing, then don't even have the decency to apologise for the mistake, or give him all the necessary assistance to facilitate the repairs - show some sense of wrong - then should we expect him to thank them, make them tea - apologise that he wasn't in breach of the rules ?....I dont think so.... .

"if you boot a guy's door, obviously for nothing"

That's the key norder, why did they kick his door in, it's not obviously for nothing to me. I have no time for our police these days, not much more than glorified social workers, I've worked with them in the past and I still know a few. and in my experience, useless as they are, they don't go around kicking doors in for fun. So what's the full SP here, we don't know, we only see half the story.

course it was for nothing - Sinkov....there was nothing there, nothing to see... the guy was doing nothing wrong, whatever the allegation made, it was a false one,and what of the complainant (someone with a hidden agenda ?) will they pay for the damage, and waste of everybodys time...the unnessesary stress, folk are suffering under enough of that as it is....so the only "something" that needs investigation to me....is the accuser.

What does seem the likeliest explanation is that the police have responded to a call about a disturbance at the premises, on arrival they were refused admittance, and after several requests to the occupant to open the door were refused, they forced entry. They had no choice, it was their duty to investigate the complaint, they could not just shrug their shoulders and walk away. There is not a police force in the world that would have done any different.

What is obvious is that they had not just turned up and kicked the door in, the occupant had his phone camera in his hand and switched to video. He was ready for what was happening, it was no surprise to him. The simple option would have been for him to open his door, let them see there was nothing to see, and they would have left inside two minutes and his door would have been intact, but no he obviously wanted to be the star of his own home movie. I have very little time for our police, I give them as much stick as anyone on this forum, but I do have sympathy for them having to deal with ****s like this.

Sinkov - can agree, that a fuller picture, previous to the door being forced - would've been interesting, but again, he was in the right, they should've given more recognition of that imo - as for the film...folk have their mobiles fixed to them like a dummy, its not like he went to the cupboard and whipped out the old 8mm.

    Cheers.

What makes me a bit suspicious as well Norder, this isn't the only video I've seen on these lines recently. there does seem to be a trend, get the filth to pay you a visit, then film them as you abuse them. Knowing they're on camera they can't give you a good hiding like they would have once of a day. All good clean fun for the untermenschen.

Sinkov....no doubt there's a few that'll play at it - but the many that I see, are just practicing their right - and it's noticed, once they know they might appear on ytube, that little camera returns some natural respect - but anyway, we're surrounded by surveillance cameras, walk down any high st and get hit by 50 of them, facial recognition, then gadjets that talk to you at home, acting as secret ears, there's monitiring of browsing history to tailer advertising...phones that geo-locate us, monitor our conversations, ...now they're talking about putting microchips under our skin....the list goes on - so of us filming them - it's fine by me.
