I must say, I’ve seen plenty of people defending the monarchy, I’ve never seen anyone claim the queen has ‘earned’ her £370m quid.
Well, Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be worth about £360m. She's worked a lot harder and a lot longer than he has.

Makes me smile really - lots on here if you say you're Labour, it's politics of envy. No different when you criticise because people have been born into it imo.

It’s funny you should mention North Korea. They’ve got this stupid system where the person in charge gets his privileged job solely on the basis of whose son he is...how stupid is that?!

Anyway I thought you were dead against unemployed scroungers claiming off the state?

Captain Tom, born in 1920, has now raised over £9,600,000. That's 1920% of the original target of £500,000.

I'd have thought they you'd like the Queen. Sits on her arse all day and expects the state to pay for everything.

An outstanding achievement from someone who owes nothing to society, from someone Who would have done more in his 20’s for this country than 99% of us did. I wonder what his thoughts are on the Queen, and if he will turn down a deserved knighthood.

An absolute credit to himself, his family and his country. We salute you Captain Moore.

Quite fright. Well done to Captain Moore, a great effort.

Obviously a shame though that he feels the the taxpayer funded NHS needs charity when the same taxpayer is also handing over a tad over £80m to the multi-millionaire queen and her brood.

Also obviously the NHS wouldn’t need nearly as much charity if it had been adequately funded for the last 10 years. Something that strangely some people are only realising in the middle of an awful pandemic.

Yet strangely none of the usual Boris arse lickers on here blame the Tory party! I find it interesting that the entire cabinet are (rightly) praising
"our brilliant NHS" on a daily basis. It seems that suddenly no praise for the NHS is too high, in fact they are falling over themselves to describe just how fantastic the NHS staff are! The big question is will they put those words into action when this is all over? Will this have opened a few eyes so the "brilliant NHS staff" will be rewarded with upgrades in pay and proper investment in the organisation they work for?

There's more chance of Lord Lucan winning the Grand National riding Shergar.

    .
It’d be nice Elite. Don’t forget though that NHS and other key workers pay their mortgages with pats on the back and rounds of applause. That’s if the new immigration policies don’t see some of them kicked out of the country next year.

Actual money is reserved for royalty, Tories, their friends, and their cronies who own the press.
