Club Statement re: DUSF

Sorry after reading the post by the DUSF bloke on Teks site where he called Mr Ogren the snake (since edited) and said we are at war, just feel that there is a few at the top of DUSF coming over as having a full of their own self importance opinion of themselves 600 is hardly a majority of United fans. You're wanting or seeing divisions where to the vast majority of Arabs just don't exist. A war ffs.

What we really didn't need just now was the club making a statement about this situation in the 1st place. Its much ado about nothing and wasn't needed.

Totally agree with you mate but there is a massive battle simmering on here because of both statements.If i was a mod i would have removed this thread.It is so FN annoying that we have just been promoted after years of misery,the Funsters are in complete meltdoon,our sworn enemies the Huns are in complete meltdoon but we go and phuck everything up with this complete and utter shyte.
Fair enough i have put it on top of the heap but i will do everything i can to bury it.

i really, really think thats someone stirring it up, especially reading the poster in questions first ever post before the DUSF ones the other night, he was very pro-snake, i think i know who it is and he's out to stir it up...

Like I've said on a previous post I'm picking no side here but the club has scored an own goal here putting out that statement when there was no apparent reason to and at a time we were about to learn of our enviable status as league champions and place in the top league.

Everything the club has done post Thompson has been spot on and I hope this is just a wee bump on the road.

No chance of removing it G, its united content and will be discussed. We start removing threads regarding supporters groups we look like we're involved.

I still think its phuckin up a board i put a lot of effort into supporting mate,i have been doon this road before and as Whitfield says there was no need for it.There are infrequent posters coming on now not to celebrate winning the league but to cause a train wreck instead.Some people need to look at the bigger picture than squabbling over petty shyte.

FWIW - the Foundation have worked hard to build up a membership of nearly 600 paying members and it was the duty of the Steering Group to make sure that any money invested or loaned was as protected as possible.

This is is the key point I don't really understand. Why does the collected money need to be secured, why can't it just be given to the club?
