Got to say, I didn’t vote the tories at the last election but since then.. with Brexit decided then, I thought the mood of the nation lifted. I wasn’t convinced by Boris at first but when he shuffled his cabinet back then he talked positively about investing. Maybe he wasn’t a bad choice afterall. So now you know my stance on the Tories you’ll hopefully take what I say next not as a tory bashing opportunity. I’ve been impressed with what the government has done to date with this pandemic, however don’t you think that in all this Mr Hancock is such a weak link? The guy comes across as way out of his depth. There was this tv interview the other day with him and Hunt. Hancock just didn’t seem to be on his level. Be interested to hear your thought.

I couldn’t agree more Regis and I’ve said exactly the same in other threads on here.

I’ve said that I can’t work out if Hancock is inept or just a compulsive liar.......I’m erring on it being both.

You watch his reaction to literally ANY question........you can see the cogs slowly turning as he looks up into his own head to reach for the next lie.

It takes him two or three seconds to start each reply and then the next 10-15 seconds he obfuscates and either repeats the question or thanks the questioner for asking the question......this is merely a “holding pattern” whilst he fumbles for an answer or fudges an answer or just blatantly lies.

Watch the comparison between him and Sunak.......Rishi replies instantly and the reason he can do this is because his brain is recalling the truth.

There is something deeply unlikeable and shifty about Hancock.

The same goes for that female health minister who Piers Morgan skewered the other day.....another inept LIAR!

Ashok Sharma and that Nawaz ( I think!? ) bloke also liars and stonewallers who answer the question they wish had been asked rather than the one that was.

Robert Jenrick is another smarmy d I c k head as well.

Thank god it’s Cummings,Boris and Sunak running the show because the back up crew are f king useless.

After all this Hunt needs reinstating as Health Minister in my opinion.

You’ve summed him up so well there Mick. That is exactly what he’s been like. My wife who works for the NHS (not in ICU) agrees how inept he is and she’s not one to ever be critical of anyone.
I think Hunt would be a great choice over Hancock, but I worry with the history with the Junior Doctors saga is something not ideal or good timing. The daggers be out. I think someone of his calibre is very much needed though.
Hancock and his choice of words doesn’t help either. “If he had a magic wand he’d make sure all PPE were supplied”. FFS, this was an issue a month ago and he answers like that.
