We have always wanted a journey on the Rocky Mountaineer. When we first went to Canada back in 1994 we were both still young and fit enough to go horse riding but I don’t think with the best will in the World we could manage that now. The other country we are considering is South Africa and a rail tour of its hinterland ending in Cape Town. Africa is a Continent we have yet to visit and would love to explore.

I'm now going to have to make sure Mrs S doesn't read this, she's after a rail trip in Canada as well. Me, can't be bothered, I'll be happy with a week on the stunning Northumberland coast.
