The three establishment clubs wanted null and void because they all made a complete erse of their seasons.I have zero sympathy for any of them but the ramifications of the DFC vote will go on forever.

The Dee CEO was on the phone to Budge on the day of the vote but after holding back his vote he would not take calls from her on the Saturday,Sunday or the Monday. She left messages on his voicemail but his only reply was through a third party who told her,"John says he is sorry."

The most the SPFL board could offer Nelms was that reconstruction plans would be on the table but in my opinion that is what would have happened anyway if the NO vote won the day.

The only thing the DFC U turn has achieved was to crown United champions and ruin a century plus friendship with Hearts and an 8 year friendship with The Rangers.

And on the Partick Thistle thing it keeps being repeated that they had a game in hand but if I understand correctly it was away to Inverness, hardly a guaranteed 3 points for a team who hadn't won a game in 2020.

The one way to to avoid being in this predicament is to not be ****e at football.

The one team I would have sympathy for is Falkirk. 1 point behind Raith with a far superior goal difference and favourites to go up. Teams who find themselves bottom of the league have no excuse.
splendid doon you go budgie and gee nelms a hug at first wee team game you have.

The main reasons this such an issue is
Rangers are unhappy that Celtic will be awarded the title
    Hearts would be relegated
If Rangers were top they would be no complaint from them and the media would print pages on how fair it would
If Hearts/Accies roles were reversed then Budge would be explaining how it is the only correct decision at an extraordinary time
If ICT were top the Funsters would be happy to accept the decision
It is true Rangers were unhappy about United coming up it shows the small, childish mentaluty

We will get a vote but only as a Championship club.Hearts will be one of the Premiership voting YES but another 10 need to vote with them.I know it has been posted we would get a Premiership vote but how can we?.Hearts have not been relegated yet.

The voting will be as follows.

Premiership 11 need to vote yes

Other leagues exactly the same as last Fridays vote ie 75%.

For the Dees sake i hope they have got their WIFI fixed.

Got to agree with your post mate,i will give you a dream scenario from the Establishment's perspective.

The Rangers are ahead of Celtic by a goal difference of 1.Establishment clubs vote The Rangers are deserved champions.

Accies are bottom of the league by 1 point but have 3 games in hand over Hearts.Fudge,Park and Nelms vote them down.

The Dees are 1 point ahead of ICT but the latter have 4 games in hand due to good runs in the Tunnocks and the Scottish cup's.
Establishment club's vote DFC up as worthy champions.

Dundee United after a nightmare season have recovered to go level with QOTS but are 2 behind on goal difference but with 3 games in hand.Establishment club verdict?,send them down.

No way will Hamilton, St Mirren, Livingston allow Hearts to stay up and a resurgent Dundee United into the league and have 3 teams relegated and a 4th involved in a playoff. For them that would be the league from Hell.

Not to mention a 14way split of the pot.

So only 1 can reject reconstruction or it fails. It will fail! FACT

ps We will be fine with that though.

The first meeting is underway,BBC Scotland have put up the permutations and the rules regarding a change and they appear very similar to what i have posted over the last few days.It is indeed Hearts who have a Premiership vote and we have a Championship vote.

Scott Ogran was on the dode fox podcast saying "we" (United) would prefer a 12 team top flight.
