O/T Anyone still looking forward to taking holidays abroad?

This thing about Branson. He doesn't have the majority shares anymore and is now asking on behalf of Virgin Atlantic (VA), for a £500 Million pound bail out by the Government. I have also read today he's worth £3.4 Billion pounds.

If the issue is that he's no longer the major share holder, then maybe he needs to get around the table with those who also own the shares in VA and sort something out between themselves. I'm sure the rest are of Billionaire status.

Failing that, IF the Government can assist then make it a loan to be paid back with interest and not just a handout. £500 Million is well hell of an amount of money to want to borrow though.

WanChai, you're incorrect.

Virgin Atlantic is currently 49% owned by Delta Airlines, with an additional stake of 31% recently acquired by Ai France-KLM. Branson calls Delta “a great partner” in many areas. 5 Jul 2019 Branson sold his part share to fund 'other' areas of his buisness.
