You make the stats tell you what you like. Including an incomplete league table.

Absolute proof Barrow do NOT deserve to go up without completing the season or playing off. Barrow were only the 10th best side in the league in the closing two months.............

You lost at home to three of the sides in the play off zone (including the very last game you played) and still had three games to play away to sides in the play offs. You wouldn't have even got to the play off final.
There's only one form team in this league and that's us.

You've got the sympathy vote because of what happened in 1972, relying on everybody overlooking the fact you were given a second chance after an appalling season in 70/71. You don't deserve to go up because you wouldn't have gone up. You'll probably go up because misguided uninformed people feel sorry for you.
    Case closed.

Look at the bright side. Team's don't respond well to playoff failure. It's a BIG if but had we got to the playoffs and lost it may have harmed next season.

Now we get to start again put the Eastleigh score right and win the league by March 😆

Unfortunately for ALL football fans it won't be case closed for a while and it won't be next season open probably until next year - It is nice to see other fans as passionate about their club as I am though - much better than "plastic" armchair PL club fans.
Hopefully this ends sooner than we all fear and we can get back to talking about actual matches again.
In the meantime all we can do is talk, argue and theorise about if's what's and maybe's.
My next door neighbour (retired paramedic) is one of the nearly 270 this has killed (in Hospitals) so far in Cumbria - that's about 1 person in 1800 of the whole counties population... Arguing about football does take our minds off things for a while - but for once Bill Shankley was wrong when he said football was more important than life or death.. peace.

I am of the opinion you have to reward the team who currently tops the table all this we would have caught them is fantasy stuff.

We would have to have won 3 more games than Barrow for a start its possible but over 9 games is it odds on ?

The season HAS ended now so you can only go on the positions NOW not what you think might happen.

The biggest disgrace will be if Stevenage get saved as they are nailed on for the drop.

Not sure if you saw this China, I try to be as fair as possible with my analysis, promotion spots were far from nailed on for anyone. Either of the top 3 still had a chance to finish top.

Wow! Not only an expert on the impact of Callum Roberts, but also knows what "a lot" of Notts fans 'seam' to think!

That's quite a talent you have.

yes - i've looked at the stats he's done regularly ever since the game Barrow played at Notts - very impressive effort from the guy and always a great read.
