That's okay for us 'Yorkies' then.....

Back on track with this coronavirus.

Does evidence support easing the lockdown for under 45’s if a vaccine isn’t found?

Statistically it seems stricter lockdowns and distancing needs to be applied to particular age groups and risk categories in future.

Is this the reality? Or do we wait for a vaccine. Even if it takes years?

    Meanwhile across the channel

France: the French Government continues to report unreliable and incorrect data on almost a daily basis. Today, April 29, they reported a decrease of 1,417 confirmed cases compared to yesterday. The Ministry of Health yesterday had reported a different figure compared to that of the Government, and even this figure was 1,504 lower than the previous day (April 27), accompanied by a note informing that they had made a mistake the previous day. Similarly, the number of probable EMS cases decreases every other day. For this reason, you may notice fluctuations in French data.

Maybe Mr frog can add some first hand experience

Having experienced Mr Frog's mathematical dexterity with the prediction league scoring I wouldn't hold out too much hope

Most professions will have members of political organisations, right and left wing. Should they not be allowed to express their views? I'd agree that it's sloppy of the media to not check them out first, but I've already said that about the case you linked to. But I don't think that should be enough to get the conspiracy juices flowing.
All 5 doctors and nurses interviewed on Panorama this week are Labour Party activists, one was a former Labour candidate for MP, one is also a Unison shop steward, I think my point has been made.

The trueth about the French numbers is that no one knows what's happening. Eduard Philip got a rollocking fo giving out too much information about the figures, what plans were and how they were being implemented.

The ammount of people dieing in nursing homes for example wasn't recorded, then it went to 3000 over night but the overall total figure didn't change. The figure of people that have died in nursing homes is over 9000 now. I get a report through from the mayors office I used to live at. I'm also still linked into the e-mails from the council even though I no longer have the right to be a councillor. The nursing home at Bujaleuf locked in 16 staff for 15 days to prevent COVID 19 getting in. They don't have any PPE to speak of apart from what the vilage cuncil can provide. Fortunately one of the councillors is a pharmasist so she is getting supplies from time to time. Bref!

There were 2 lots of figures coming out, one was from one government office and the other from another. Both had different levels of victims.

Cayton, the long and short of it is that we just don't know the true figures. The Government don't talk to the people like they do nt UK.

Some things we know from the 11TH May

We're free to start moving 100kms from home without attestation
Groups of up to 10 permitted
    Shops are re-opening
Schools for infants and nurseries to reopen but limited places. If you've been fourlonged then you need to provide an attestation from the school stating that there wasn't a place for you child for you to continue being off work and claim the financial aid.
Washable face masks are being distributed. Anyone caught not wearing one in public will be fined 12€

This list changes daily and we've been told that everything could be stopped before the 11th May.

Doesn't matter what political allegiances they have as long as the message is accurate. I assume that most of the cabinet belong to the Tory party!
