Some of my memories of Trevor Cherry 1972 to 1982.

1981 Old Trafford springs to mind .............. Cherry in a back line of Eddie at left back,Greenhoff at right back alongside big Paul Hart with the further rearguard of 10,000 Leeds fans crammed into the old scoreboard end, wearing baggy jeans, white Dr medical coats,a sea of White and Police everywhere.Out of nowhere Flynn pops up and it's a 1-0 job done with Leeds players walking off the the pitch towards the tunnel to deafening abuse from the defeated OT faithful alongside the mainstand terrace whilst we're all singing with Trevor Cherry & Derek Parlane pointing to their black shorts with the Man U badge on (kit clash meant we'd borrowed them for the match) - a beautiful unique moment savoured to this day as was the train journey there and back ............. but that's another story.

1977 Trevor Cherry bundling in the winner at ER against Man City in the Cup at ER after Corrigan had played an absolute blinder all game before Cherry swept that one passed him.
(We drew them again in 1978 when they beat us.A match when the Kop 'had a go' at Joe Corrigan ........ think the FA gave us a ban for home games after some real sour incidents on and off the pitch.Gordon McQueen left for Scum (after the club fined him) for losing his rag during the mayhem of that match..................

All 'pure Leeds' moments covering some of the many good and bad times of 399 games of Trevor Cherry in a Leeds shirt.
