True, some managers are just a good fit for certain clubs. Old ground this i know but I think sir Alex would've had a hard job saving us that season, damage was done by Jackie & Tamsin

100% agree. MacNamara should have been given his jotters at the end of the season before.

It's the Wright or Hughes would have "definitely" kept us up bit I'm not getting.

    That's some statement.

Seemingly John Robertson one of the favourites to take over the helm at saints.

If I was a Saints fan, I would be extremely concerned over the circumstances of how this has come about. Their Chairman clearly has had a ‘vision’ over how to run the Club moving into the future which is clearly at odds with how the manager feels it should go. The manager’s conflict with this means his relationship with the Chairman has broken down irrevocably to the point where he feels he cannot continue as he fears for the future and is wanting to bail now with his reputation intact. The Saints Chairman would now appear to be left to appoint someone who will ‘buy into’ the ‘vision’ and basically do as he is told.

Now correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure I’ve read this tale before somewhere...............................
