When haircuts were allowed a used to go into Brig'arse by 9-00am to get mi haircut. Just to fill an hour a allus popped into the Brig'arse Wetherspooins next dooar at abart 9-45 forra coffee and a bacon sandwich. Place wo rocking by then full of merry blokes and lasses who had brought in their kiddies in a pushchair. A vibrant atmosphere. Tha could get unlimited coffee and a bacon sandwich for £2-40 and be entertained by the conversation all around.

The Chancellor getting twitchy now with the cost of the furlough scheme with the Tory donors no doubt blowing in his ear .

I seem to remember when it was rolled out the chancellor saying " whatever it takes " , he said that at least 20 times during his address .

Whatever it takes seems to come with restrictions at this moment in time .

It is a difficult situation , unprecedented but the reality is this .

Your in a situation that is going to involve trading lives today to save lives tomorrow , in fairly brutal terms and no spin that's where you are .

Who'd want to make that decision ?

The problem as I see it is that companies re-opening for business are going to have the responsibility to operate safely and ensure they can keep you safe .

They have that responsibility anyway and can I just point out to any posters reading this that you are well within your rights to refuse to go in if you feel you aren't being kept safe and the law states you cannot be discriminated against .

Yes I know in the real world how that works but I'm simply pointing it out .

Stay at home , save lives , protect the NHS or at least till the money runs out .

Just as a gut reaction I think, with hundreds dying each day, it is too early to ease the lockdarn.

For all the warm words about to be said by Ministers ovva the coming week it really is abart money.

I notice the monkey who makes everyone laugh is absent from the lectern again and another organ grinder is rolled out to play the tune .

Perhaps he's busy changing nappies or at Chequers having another rest .

Meanwhile sadly close to 700 have passed away taking the total to 29,427 .

Easing lockdown is one thing getting the public to start venturing out is quite another .

Given those figures I'll stay at home for the foreseeable thanks very much .

I think what's coming is "dipping a toe in the water" a little at a time approach
Think on that each week that passes, the economy gets deeper in the doo doo, so it's a careful balancing act
Not so sure that putting too much faith in this app is the right move but perhaps should supplement a series of other approaches
