Problem with 451 is the man at front is always smudge and he’s the one who creates chances it’s Freddy or vas that are the scorers unless he drops smith or plays him as an attacking midfielder 451 is useless

One or two budding managers on here but I'll leave it to Warney. He wasn't far off last time and hopefully he'll have a stronger squad next time because we have a much better recruitment team.

I too think the Cship is not as difficult to crack as some may think.
We shipped so many points last season at home when we deserved all three and we should have ended 10 points clear
It can be done and I've every faith in PW's and Rob Scott's recruitment.
They know more than me but i think a holding midfielder is key in the same way that Neil used Greg Halford - close the gap in front of the penalty area and stop the runs / passes where it can cause damage.
I agree we lost so many points some were at game most was away but we were so much better than the end result.

I think everyone can see we need midfielders, I think crooks could do that roll your wanting he’s big enough to hold ball up without getting knocked off anyhow. What I wouldn’t give to have an ajayi a frecklington and Agard

Should be better next time in the Championship.
More experienced management team and back-up i.e. recruiting.
    Move a few out......bring a few in....if POSSIBLE.

It will be a very strange time next season,if it gets played. Will anyone have money to bring players in.? Will loans still work as they do now? Will all the Championship teams survive? It will be fasinating to see how it will all pan out.

When you put it like that then I’ve now got negatives in my head but TS has been careful with his money and if others struggle to spends over the odds then maybe we could finish in the top half

Yes i was thinking Crookes in the holding roll too.
I believe he's been asked to fill in defensive duties before and he can break forward with the ball when we win it back.
Based on the last 10 games or so in the cship he's certainly got the quality for that standard.
He ran Stoke City ragged at their place and should have had 3/4 goals. It was One of the best goalkeeping displays I've ever seen from The international Jack Butland that denied him

Great to read that most people including me on this thread have us in the cship already ahead of any decisions later this week.
Nowt wrong with a bit of positivity

Doubtful there will be much spare cash about whether we're in Championship or League 1.
Maybe a time to bring a couple of the youngsters through, add a couple of Paul Warnes astute signings and we're good to go..... ( whenever that is )
