What else do have we ,if that is wheat or barley?

In the old Testament there was the counting of the 'Omer.' The word omer is sometimes translated as sheaf — specifically, an amount of grain large enough to require bundling. To take away the 'r' ,gives us Ome, which is Omen, far fetched, but that is the only word I know for this number 18,leaving only 'Bali.' (a province in Indonesia ).I bet B T knows but he is not saying,leaving us in suspense !
