RIP Steve Priest.
Founder member of Sweet.
Remember them well, my era.
"New York Groove" by Sweet was used as as intro music earlier in the season, that was a version of the band led by Andy Scott with no involvement from Steve Priest.
Andy is now the last surviving member of the band.
RIP Steve Priest.
Duplicate post.
Ballroom Blitz one of the first singles I ever bought and helped shape my love of music. Great songs which my daughter loves too so loves on through her! RIP Steve. Thanks for the great tunes
Remember seeing them at the Windmill many years ago. Quite good live....RIP Steve Priest.
Proper guitarists.
Sweet also played at Clifton Hall for a Tech Dance. Marmalade played the year after.
Not sure there’s anything to compare with in contemporary music to how hard these worked.
