Yes, but the likes of Posh are claiming everyone would/could catch us but not Coventry. After 20 games we were 5 places and 12pts behind Wycombe, 9 games later we were a place and 3pts above them. On runs of similar form, 6 or 7 teams could easily catch Coventry, nobody has a crystal ball.
it hasn't helped that one or two clubs have been making all the noise and one in particular has been far too aggressive and publicly stated some very unsavoury comments.
Tranmere,s arguement is completely undermined for a number of reasons and in particular because their relegation position is very tight but they want a free pass but don't want us to have one. Inconsistent and therefore not credible
There's also been far too much shameless self interest being displayed by a small handful of clubs with Ipswich being the latest one
If it had been Oxford or Portsmouth and their fans making protests it might have had a bit more gravitas. Sunderland, Wycombe and Wimbledon also appear to have maintained a high degree of professionalism
If we do go up I think we will have been given a massive boost but no one has come up with a decent solution compared to the one that seems likely.
Difficult times and nothing is ideal or fair but a solution has to be implemented

Problem is Coventry can still be caught too they are like CAM said only 7 points ahead with 9 games it’s not difficult to imagine Coventry losing one or two and drawing 3 games. This isn’t about points it’s about money. I don’t blame them for trying their luck but smack talking Rotherham saying they don’t deserve it in a stupid attempt of a two play off winners extended tournament which no one in there right mind would vote for.
I call it stupid because if it has no hope in passing it’s not worth bringing up in a meeting
Pboro folks talk about us having a hard finish to the season yet Cov have a harder one than us but they say its ok for em to go up...I certainly don't think cov would be any more nailed on autos than us if the season was to continue...you can tell on their footy sites their fans are as anxious as ours to call the season as it is....
Dunno how true this is supposedly from Daily Mail. Says league 1 play off teams already called in for testing for corona virus and returning to training on Mon and us and cov are up
League One clubs are set to vote to end the season in the EFL’s crunch meeting on Tuesday, with a points-per-game metric set to be put in place, handing Coventry City the title and promotion to the Championship.
That's according to the Daily Mail, who state the four League One clubs set to be involved in the playoffs, which will go ahead in the usual two-legged semi-final format, called their players in for coronavirus testing on Thursday and will return to training on Monday.
Under the points-per-game metric, Oxford United will tackle Portsmouth and Wycombe Wanderers will face Fleetwood Town - with the standings altered significantly by the season-deciding proposal.
Coventry City and Rotherham United will be promoted automatically, while Wycombe are set to shoot up from eighth to third - knocking Peterborough United out of the playoff positions in the process.
Lets hope its reight

Either the teams in the top two should be promoted and the next four play-off, or the top two should BOTH have to take part in the play-off. No argument for me. Obviously the first option is much preferred.
