Health & Safety, Time Constraints, Financial Implications and Logistics, etc, aside..........I would bet on us going up automatic if we had to complete the games.

Yes, we had a wobble, but with the squad reinforced by returning players, especially central defenders I would take our squad over any other in the division.

I wouldn't go for any of the other contrived suggestions either, including the extended play-offs.

What happened to some clubs concerns about the "integrity" of the game? According to some clubs (including their chairman, managers, fans, press), you can't change the rules if it results in Rotherham being automatically promoted (but Coventry can?!?!) but you CAN change the rules to allow other clubs with inferior records another bite of the promotion (or play-off) cherry or it creates another FAKE scenario that prevents clubs from being relegated, even though they are currently in the relegation spots.

When we do Risk Assessments at work, the first question should always be "Can the risk be avoided?"
If the answer is yes, that's sorted.

Therefore, it is a straight forward decision for me. Finish the season now to reduce the risks of COVID exposure and financial burden on all clubs. Then we can all plan for next season (whenever that may be).
