I'm not encouraging folk to go out of their way to offend folk but there will always be someone to get offended about something.

Black folk going about in suits saying **** white people dosent offend me I just think they are nuts but even if I was offended surely it's up to me not to be offended or accept being offended is a natural human reaction, ....otherwise it would get to a stage before any comedian would have to check with his audience before cracking a funny.

People make a conscious choice to go see a stand up comic though and expect that it's likely to be offensive. It would make sense not to go if likely to be offended. That's not quite what I was getting at.

Absolute pish! There are shades of pink and shades of brown. Never in anyone’s lifetime have they seen a black or white skinned person unless the person seen had a puss full of make up on ie the black and white minstrel show. I get we are all from different ages GB, I'm no spring chicken myself. But age is not a viable excuse for ignoring racism. Great Britain has a shameful history and what was deemed OK then is certainly not OK now so I see nothing wrong in these monuments to people who made their fortunes from human suffering being pulled down unceremoniously ( not sure William Wallace was at fault though &#128521
