Apparently Doncaster saying there is now enough support to go to a ballot for permanent reconstruction. Looks like Hearts are going to get their way after all, Scottish football is a complete laughing stock once more. The only way I would support reconstruction is if its planned in from the season after instead so that it's not just about one clubs wishes. Also Doncaster packing his bags and getting to **** would be part of the deal 👍

If this does go through (which I still think is unlikely) then I think the SPFL will be seen as reacting well to a difficult situation.

The sheepsh*gger who keeps claiming he's losing £40bn a month was in the press 2 weeks ago saying he's against permanent reconstruction. Let's see if he sticks to his word.

Apart from everything else, I just don't see what's in this for the existing top flight clubs? Each one of them will lose money from this deal so I just can't see why they would vote it through. I expect United to say no, I also reckon Sevco will say no because their proposal wasn't given any consideration and reconstruction now would make it virtually impossible for them to bring up again. I expect Hibs to also say no simply because it's Hearts and their fans wouldn't be happy. St Johnstone also to say no as their whole existence hangs on games against the arse cheeks.

Hibs may do a fun though.

    I hope United say no.

I am totally against this. Being done for all the wrong reasons.

A top 14 is much worse and doesn’t work compared to top 12

The old firm clubs being given special status and revenue with a B team would be a disgrace

Right with you on this, would Hearts agree to it being put in place the following season instead in the interests of sporting integrity? At least that way there could be a genuine play off between 2nd 3rd and 4th in the championship to see which team joins the winners in the big league. Pretty sure they wouldn't be interested at all? Whole thing reeks!

In fact you could throw in the bottom team from the Premier league too, that way no team would automatically have a get out of jail free card
