    It's funny but I was of that opinion having seen him play but after his death in April many of the comments I read about him from fellow professionals seem to indicate that he was held in high esteem.

    Granted not in the same mould as Quinn, Gow or Grealish. A different type of midfielder, always made himself available for a pass and knew when to slow the game down.
    Five seasons playing for the Millers must count for something.

    Players like Quinn, Gow and Tony Grealish don't come along every season.

    Stewart talbot was a great player for me..sadly he didnt play for us long enough..

    Yes milla Stewart Talbot was a damn good player for us.
    Hard-working, covered all areas of the pitch and much underrated by some.

    Yes and nearly on the scrap heap when we signed him following recovery from a bad leg break injury.

    I doubt we would entertain signing a player under similar circumstances today.
