TBF by that stage the Three Amigos were spending most of their time half pished in St Andrews while Mr A was spending ‘quality’ time up in Aberdeen, so Dundee United Football Club was way down the priority list. All very allegedly, of course.

I think we're more entitled to say Shankland is worth more than Nisbet.
    Of course.

If we do bid for Nisbet though I hope we are sensible and have a cut off point that we don't go beyond on the hope we make mega profit on..... err.... like we were hoping to do with.. err... Muirhead and Telfer.....

Not suggesting that Shankland isn't worth more, merely saying the boy Nisbet has so far proved himself on the same two levels that Shankland has. Let's just wait and see how he does if we sign him but I am sticking my neck out now and saying it will be a very good investment.

Nisbet bid rejected. Considering a second. Also in for Alex Gogic apparently.

Also completely wrong to compare him to two players who have flopped but refuse to actually highlight his similar career path to Shanks.

    Wtf does this mean?

United were likely to make a second bid for the 23-year-old but have been side-tracked after being dragged into Hearts and Partick Thistle’s joint legal challenge against the SPFL.

I made this point to the boy 1885Ben on YouTube (Pars fan) and this was his response:

BTW boys that goal that Shankland scored v Hibs at Easter Rd proved to anyone with an eye for a player of his credentials. It was truly a thing of beauty.

We never paid money for Shanks hence the comparison with having to pay money for Nisbet but in hindsight if we did have to pay money for Shanks then it would have been money we'll spent...... In hindsight.
